New Client Questions

Welcome to Rockhill Counseling!  We hope you have a positive and productive experience with us. Please review the information below to help you get started.

How should I prepare?

  1. Complete intake paperwork on the client portal

  2. Wear closed toed shoes. If it’s recently rained, it will be muddy.

  3. Dress for the weather- we meet rain or shine!

  4. If your session will be outside, feel free to bring some water and put on sunscreen and/or bug spray!

Where do I wait?

If you arrive early or are waiting for your child while they are in session, you can wait in your car, the garage area (farm central) or feel free to walk around or sit anywhere before the 2nd gate.  Beyond that, do not walk around the property (unless you have permission) as there could be counseling sessions going on just about anywhere. When it is your appointment time, please go to farm central or text your counselor where you are waiting.  For liability purposes, please do not interact with the animals unless you are with your counselor.

How often will we meet?

We typically like to meet with everyone weekly until a relationship can be formed and you have met most of your goals. We can then taper off. With some clients, it may be necessary to meet more often until you or your child is stabilized.

How do I pay?

You can pay with credit card, cash or check. You will however need to keep a credit card on file to hold your appointments. If you miss an appointment or cancel within 24 hours before your appointment your credit card will be charged for that appointment.

What are your fees?

Fees range from $120-$170 depending on your counselor's training and experience.

Do you offer group sessions?

We do! Group sessions are 90 minutes in length and are $70-80 per session.

If you are driving at dusk or dark be very cautious as there are a lot of wild animals that may dart into the road.
